The Little Paris Kitchen

I am in Love.

The programme, the food, her wardrobe, the Parisian markets, her kitchen - the lot of it! Have any of you seen it? Rachel Khoo is the charming host, and she shows us around her miniscule (and I mean miniscule) kitchen, cooking up some yummy Parisian treats and traditional French meals, all while showing us around some interesting foodie places in Ole Paree :)

She moved the Paris without even speaking French, and now she's an expert in French cooking! Amazing.

I've asked my Beau for the cookbook for my birthday...so fingers crossed! :)

Get the look of her fabulous petite kitchen with this beautiful enamel cooking pot,

these sweet patterned tiles,

and what's the point in making delicious party treats if you can't wear a pretty frock ;)

I'm back down in Landan at the mo working with the lovely Louisa Grey and Jo Cave where I'm kaing these beautiful blooms for a shoot...have a look!

Can't wait to see them in the sets :)

Interiors Shoot

Hi Everyone :) Thanks for all the comments on the last post, it was a really fun shoot to do and I'm glad you all liked it. Here's another shoot we did, this time I tried my hand to Interior styling, something that I think I want to pursue further. Photography again by Shona Singleton at A Polaroid Dream. Let me know what you think :)

Happy Thoughts

Hi Everyone :)
Thank you all so much for the comments on '99 Forever, it 's meant so much to have so many comments and compliments :)

Above is a Happy Thoughts thing that I've made for my Mum. She's just opened a brand new cafe called Vintage Cafe and I thought this would be a really nice thing to stick on the notice board. I'm going to do a post later on the cafe, but for now CLICK HERE to see what it looks like :)

I thought I'd put up some pictures of my new dresser in my room. I got it from a charity shop for £8! I painted it white and put all my bits and bobs on there. I really love it now, and I think it really makes my room :)

My growing number of props are also balanced on it! :)

Here are some pictures from our degree show. This one above is Shona and I at the back of the room, nervously watching '99 Forever and gauging the audiences reactions - luckily it was a brilliant reaction! :D

And here is my beautiful sister. Without her the night really would have been a flop!

Now I've left Uni, that fear that I think all post Uni students are having right now - what on earth do I do with my life? Luckily I have a job lined up, being a teaching assistant and workshop co-ordinator at a Film and Media College (the one that I attended actually) for a few terms, but I'm constantly having that self doubt and fear I'm not good enough to 'make it.' Any other post Uni people feel like this? :s

Paper Boats, Cardboard Castles, and Golden Maps

So heres some paper boats I have made as part of the set  for my film, strung up from the ceiling :)

 Pea Green Boat :D
This one is my favourite, I love the big pirate ship style sails :)
By the way, the messy walls are due to these lovely little boats being strung up in my Uni room...very messy and stuffed with props...
This is a cardboard castle I made...it is meant to have been made by a nine year old, so it's allowed to be a little scruffy ;)

This is a beautiful map of Asia that I picked up for free! The black surface is like blackboard, nd before I pimped it up with gold glitter there was chalk drawings all over the countries. The glitter glue I used ws about a pound, so the full thing cost me around two quid ;) Thrifty or what! :)

More bits and props coming soon :)
