Princess Pearl, Roses and Tea.

Just sharing some old Instagram photos again. I drew the above ages ago, early on last year I think, and the roses and Tea Tin are photos I took in my Mum's lovely tea shop, Vintage Cafe.

blues, booze, and books.

Because I haven't been on here in ages, I'm going to be a teeny bit lazy and post all my instagram pictures. I see it as just a quick way of getting up to speed.

BBC Design Trainee Scheme Art Department - I'm a BBC Design Intern!

I haven't written in so long becuase so much has gone on over the summer. I FINALLY applied for the BBC Design Trainee Scheme (I first heard about it in my 2nd year of Uni so I've been wanted to enter for quite a long time ) and unbelievably I got accepted.

I'm still pinching myself - hundreds of people  applied, and I was one of the lucky ones to get picked!

I've finished my first placement, which was in Manchester, on a drama for BBC3 called In The Flesh. It was heaps of fun, and I got to do some amazing things.

I'm now on my second placement, down at Pinewood Studios in London working on the new Muppets movie. Everything's going brilliantly so far and I've met some lovely people.

Heres some photos of my application.

Lagos Pt 3

I'm getting more and more wistful each of these posts I'm putting up...I just want to go back! :'(

Severe case of the holiday blues.

What a gorgeous graded wall. The cobbles for streets around were speckled with blue paint too.

Missing my continental breakfasts too!

Lagos Pt 2

Second of what is going to be a few Lagos posts (mainly because I've got so many lovely pictures from my time there). This was one of the walls that made up a huge old fort that once protected the city. Now, thousands of tiny tiny birds live in the holes and cracks between the stones - it was a lovely sight to see and hear.

It was also my 22nd birthday yesterday. I had such a lovely day, spending it with friends, family, and my beautiful beau who always always spoils me rotten. Thank you to everyone for making my day so special.
